Empties Optimization and Standardization
The core issues to be covered by Empties Optimization and Standardization
Working Group is currently inefficient use of resources in the whole
supply chain from manufacturer to the shelf created by a number
of various different non-stackable types of secondary returnable
packaging in use in the Baltic States.
Initial direction for the working group shall result in defining
guidelines for introduction of standardized pool for empties and
roadmap for efficient returnable secondary packaging in Baltics.

Retail/Shelf Ready Packaging trainings for Rimi suppliers
Retail Ready Packaging (RRP) is a prerequisite for doing business
with some retailers. Without asking for RRP solutions other retailers
often receive them from
multinational suppliers. Used well RRP solutions have the potential
to increase the productivity of scarce replenishment labour; improve
on-shelf availability and appearance; increase sales and loyalty;
