New: Available Pallets Management Best Practice presentation from 06.02.2014 "train a trainer" course
(to access presentation, you need members or paid access code).
The training course is facilitated by Mateusz Boruta, Managing Director of ECR Poland in English.
The aim of the training course is to foster transparancy in pallets exchange allowing companies (pallet users: retailers, suppliers, distributors and transport companies) to work together in classroom and warehouse to assess EUR and EPAL pallets in a similar way using ECR Baltic pallet assessment cards. The knowledge gained in the course afterwards can be easily cascaded down to warehouse floor / truck level.

As from the 1st of August 2013 EUR pallet system split in two compatible systems of single brand EUR and EPAL.
ECR Baltic recommends equally use and exchange EUR and EPAL pallets, including those manufactured before the August 2013, provided that they meet technical and quality criteria specified in UIC-Leaflet 435-2, based on EN 13698-1 norm.
For assessment of new EUR and EPAL pallets (before they are integrated in ECR Baltic pallet assessment cards), please use the ECR Poland version 5 pallets assessment cards (green card) available for download at www.ecr-baltic.org/eurpallets

The purpose of this ECR survey is to benchmark the use of category management & shopper marketing including the rate of adoption of traditional principles & early identification of growing trends in the Baltics. The survey will also be conducted by other ECR National Initiatives allowing for international benchmarking.
This benchmark will provide tangible insights for a company's senior leadership and Category Managers. It will illustrate how widely practised category management & shopper marketing is within the industry and pinpoint which activities are gaining in participation and prominence.
Annual participation in the survey will allow participants to conduct gap analyses and identify how the discipline is progressing year on year.
We encourage you to participate so that we can obtain a full view of category management and shopper marketing in the Baltics. The survey should take 15 minutes to complete.
